We Made It!

Well, we made it to South Africa. We are sitting at a little cafe by  the ocean. This is the first time we've gotten on the internet. We were at bush camp all weekend. When I say bush camp...I mean literally in the middle of the bush. It rained and we basically lived in the mud for a few days. Shawn and I didn't eat from Wednesday morning to Friday afternoon--We were HUNGRY. Also, we were SO thirsty and there was NO cold water. It has been a pretty rough couple of days. We got in on Thursday late afternoon and checked into our housing. We live in Annie's Cove which is only ten minutes from campus. It's a nice place but it could use some stuff on the walls. Shawn and I both have South African flat mates so that will be nice. It feels like we haven't really had a chance to breath since we have been on the run since we got here. We met lots of really cool people and made lots of friends at bush camp this weekend. We met people from all over the US as well as Northern Ireland, Germany, and Sweden. We are still kind of in a bit of shock and need some time to relax and adjust but I think we are going to have lots of fun. We haven't had much time to collect our thoughts but we will try and post later on once things are more in order. Bottom line, we made it here safe and things are going good.
